Local Map

Further to the South and the mountains ahead of us get even more imposing, 15 km nothing but oleander, macchia, mountains, rocks and lovely smells... we reach Cala Ginepro and Cala Liberotto, the more exclusive and lesser known beach villas, and a real find. Pine forests along the whole stretch of coast, dramatic mountain formations, a beautiful coastline with often tiny bays, finest sandy beaches, bordering on rocky shores, and little peninsulas.
Novices at surfing may find this area due to the coastline a little too challenging, we wouldn't recommend the area to them, but to everyone else, families with children, nature lovers, walkers, etc, who will just love it here.
The attractive nearby market town of Orosei, with its historic town centre and a couple of excellent restaurants, is worthwile a visit.
