Leaving the large bay at Santa Lucia, the coastal road takes us through aromatic machia and pine trees 6 km further South to the sandy bay of Capo Comino, , famous for its sand dunes and framed in the background by the bizarre silhouet of the 'Supramonte' mountains. Capo Comino is a small holiday resort with a snack bar and a shop open during the summer months, smaller and quieter than San Giovanni. Those looking for shopping miles, a good choice of restaurants, evening strolls and night life, will definitely need a car to reach amenities approx. 5-15 min drive away. Nature lovers and those, who like it very quiet, will find this resort ideal.
