This bay is very attractive not only because of the forest, the beach itself is less shallow shelving than the main beach of Budoni and the underwater fauna and flora, with its sea grass fields and rock caves is especially attractive for snorkelling. At the end of the bay is a wild romantic hill with historic importance (rumour has it a Roman settlement is about to be uncovered in the area around it), which is also the boundary of the county 'Budoni'.
